Cook at the Bistro

The Domaine International de Rouville is currently looking for a cook for the Bistro du Golf de Rouville.

The cook's primary responsibilities include independently preparing the dishes offered on the golf course restaurant menu. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Supervisor, they ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of the dishes, while adhering to all applicable hygiene and sanitation standards. Their work directly contributes to the dining experience of golfers and visitors, ensuring that the meals served meet the establishment's standards.

Workplace: Rouville Golf Course

Job type: Temporary (summer)

Schedule: Full-time, from 6am to 7:30pm. The employee may be required to work weekdays and weekends.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Work planning and organization

• Analyzes and plans the work to be done.

• Organizes his service area and prepares the workstations.

• Examine the available supplies, ingredients, and products.

• Breaks down and orders the tasks to be performed in order to optimize the service.

• Carry out the complete setup of the kitchen.

• Maintains equipment inventories, if applicable.

• Maintains the workstation, tools and equipment.

• Keeps their workstation clean, organized and compliant with standards.

• Provides special assistance to team members as needed.

Meal preparation & adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards

• Prepares recipes in accordance with the establishment's standards.

• Prepares food, including:

o Stocks, sauces, soups

Meat or poultry dishes

o Pasta dishes

o Dishes made with fish and shellfish

Dishes based on vegetables and fruit

o Basic desserts and other common preparations

• Controls the quality of prepared dishes.

• Prepares dishes taking into account customer allergies and special needs, if applicable.

• Ensures proper food preservation.

• Identifies the foods to be preserved and applies the appropriate method.

• Prepares food for storage.

• Performs preservation checks according to current standards.

• Cleans and sanitizes surfaces, equipment and work tools.

• Strictly applies food hygiene and safety rules.

Perform all other related tasks.
