For over 60 years, the Domaine International de Rouville has been an iconic camping and recreation destination in Quebec. Founded in 1960 by architect Maurice Robillard and his wife Gertrude Fontaine, the Domaine was born from a simple idea: to create a large-scale, accessible, and vibrant outdoor space at the foot of Mont-Saint-Hilaire, supplied by exceptionally high-quality water.
Visionaries for their time, the founders launched Quebec's first true campground and one of the first public golf courses, establishing from the outset a culture of innovation and proximity to visitors. This tradition of hospitality and quality continues today, as the site welcomes more than 200,000 visitors annually, including thousands of loyal seasonal campers.
Choosing a seasonal plot at the Domaine also means being part of a family history, a close-knit community and a place that evolves with the seasons, while preserving the soul of its origins.
