The Domaine International de Rouville is currently looking for an assistant manager for the brand new Marché de Rouville.
The Assistant Manager at the Marché de Rouville is primarily responsible for supporting the Grocery Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store. Reporting to the Grocery Store Manager, they ensure the smooth running of activities and maintain business continuity in the Manager's absence. Versatile and adaptable, they are able to work in all areas of the grocery store, including the cash register, receiving and preparing orders, the prepared foods counter, cooking products, cleaning, and coordinating the team's work. They contribute to providing a high-quality customer experience, maintaining an efficient work environment, and ensuring compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
Responsible for his workspace, he ensures proper food and inventory management to minimize waste and optimize product rotation. He also collaborates with other grocery store employees to ensure efficient operations, especially during peak periods. Through his organizational skills and attention to quality, he contributes to providing an appealing dining experience for customers while adhering to hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.

Schedule: Full-time, between 30 and 40 hours per week depending on low or high season.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management
• Supports the manager in the planning, organization and supervision of the daily activities of the grocery store.
• Manages operations in the absence of the manager and ensures the smooth running of store activities.
• Participates in receiving goods, verifying orders and setting up products in the store.
• Ensures the availability, quality and rotation of products in order to maintain high standards of freshness and presentation.
• Participates in the preparation of ready-to-eat counter products and cooks food according to operational needs.
• Ensures compliance with hygiene, sanitation and food safety standards.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the premises, equipment and workspaces.
• Ensures the proper functioning of equipment and reports any problems to the manager.
Human Resources Management
• Supports the manager in supervising and coordinating the work team.
• Participates in the training of new employees and ensures the application of procedures and work standards.
• Contributes to maintaining a respectful, collaborative and efficient work environment.
• May be called upon to distribute tasks and supervise the work of employees in the absence of the manager.
Customer service
• Greets customers with courtesy and professionalism.
• Offers fast and efficient service, both at the cash register and at the various service counters.
• Answers customer questions, advises them on products and ensures their satisfaction.
• Proactively intervenes to resolve any customer situation or dissatisfaction.
• Contributes to creating a positive and user-friendly customer experience.
Administrative management and operational support
• Performs cash register operations and ensures compliance with internal procedures.
• Participates in inventory monitoring and reports restocking needs.
• Applies the policies, procedures and directives established by management.
• Works closely with the manager to ensure the efficiency and profitability of operations.
• Performs and documents all required checks, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to scheduled frequencies.
• Ensures compliance with existing health and safety policies and adopts expected safety behaviors.
