Hourly :
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Part-time on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Contractual position until the end of the 2026 season.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
General maintenance of the route
- Performs mowing of walkways, mounds, greens, borders and other surfaces according to the superintendent's instructions.
- Performs raking, brush clearing and maintenance of sand pits.
- Repairs divots, ball marks and other imperfections on the course.
- Cleans departure areas, golf cart paths and traffic areas.
- Collects waste and ensures the general cleanliness of the course and outdoor facilities.
Horticultural and landscape maintenance
- Water plants, lawns, shrubs and flower beds as needed.
- Performs weeding, planting and maintenance of landscaping.
- Participates in the maintenance of the trees: branches on the ground, small prunings, clearing of play areas.
Equipment operation and maintenance
- Uses maintenance equipment (lawnmowers, snowblowers, brush cutters, tractors, etc.) according to safety standards.
- Check the condition of the equipment before and after use.
- Report any damage or anomalies to the relevant authorities.
- Performs basic maintenance as needed (cleaning, refilling fluids, tidying up)
Seasonal and weather-related work
- Participates in the work to open the field (removal of protections, spring repair, installation of equipment).
- Contributes to end-of-season closing work (protecting surfaces, final cleaning, tidying up).
- Assistance during weather events: light snow removal, drainage, cleanup after strong winds or storms, collaboration and support for operations, etc.
Works closely with the superintendent and the maintenance team.
- Follow the guidelines regarding daily priorities, mowing times, and sensitive areas.
- Respect safety standards on the field, especially when players are present.
- Interacts professionally and respectfully with golfers, as needed.
Performs all other related tasks.
Qualifications and skills:
- Experience in landscaping, horticulture or golf course maintenance (an asset).
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and machinery (tractors, lawnmowers, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compliance with health and safety guidelines at work.
- Punctuality, reliability and a positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license (class 5).
