Project Manager - Programming

The Domaine International de Rouville is looking for a project manager - programming to work at the Domaine International de Rouville.

The Domaine International de Rouville is a resort complex including a campground and a 27-hole golf course located near Mount Rougemont and Mount Saint-Hilaire, in the heart of the Monteregian landscape. Since 1960, this internationally renowned and popular tourist destination has offered water activities, camping stays, magnificent golf courses, and a performance hall.

Job description:

The Project Manager – Programming is primarily responsible for designing, planning, coordinating, and implementing the programming of activities offered at Camping de Rouville. Reporting to the Director of Recreation and Festivals, they develop a dynamic, varied, and inclusive program of activities, primarily aimed at seasonal campers, while also inviting travelers to participate. They contribute to creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere through family-friendly and entertaining activities suitable for all ages.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Programming planning and development:

• Develops family, recreational, sporting, cultural and entertainment activities for customers of all ages.

• Ensures the consistency of the programming with the image, mission and objectives of Camping de Rouville.

• Proposes innovative concepts and ideas aimed at revitalizing camping life and encouraging camper participation.

Coordination and implementation of activities:

• Coordinates the resources needed to carry out the programming (animators, artists, suppliers, equipment).

• Ensures the smooth running of activities in the field and provides operational support as needed.

• Adapts the programming according to the number of visitors, the clientele and the weather conditions.

Collaboration and communication:

• Works closely with the director of recreation and festivals for the planning and evaluation of programming.

• Works in collaboration with other departments of the campsite for the assembly and dismantling of facilities (maintenance, catering, security, etc.).

• Ensures clear and proactive communication with the teams involved and with the clientele.

Monitoring and continuous improvement:

• Collects feedback from seasonal campers and travellers to assess satisfaction.

• Analyzes participation and performance of activities.

• Formulates recommendations to improve and optimize programming.

Administrative management:

• Contributes to monitoring budgets related to programming activities.

• Participates in the management of materials and equipment required for activities.

• Produces end-of-season reports or summaries, as needed.

Perform all other related tasks.

HIRING CRITERIA:

  • Must be available on weekends from the mid-May to September
  • Having experience in event planning or management (or any other related experience) is an asset.
  • Having excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to easily handle unexpected situations
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Being comfortable managing volunteers is an asset
