Junior HR and Payroll Coordinator

The Domaine International de Rouville is looking for a junior HR and payroll coordinator who will work at both the campsite and the Rouville Golf Course. This is a full-time, permanent position (all year round!)

Domaine International de Rouville is a resort including a campground and a 27-hole golf course located near the Rougemont and Saint-Hilaire mountains, in the heart of the Montérégie panorama. Since 1960, this internationally renowned and popular tourist destination has offered aquatic activities, camping stays, magnificent golf courses, and a performance hall.

Job Description:

The Junior Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator supports the Senior HR Advisor in managing the full human resources cycle. They actively participate in the implementation of HR processes, payroll, and employee administrative management. They are responsible for the complete and accurate processing of payroll and expense reimbursements, while ensuring quality service to employees and managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Human Resources:

  • Supports the Senior HR Advisor in managing the complete human resources cycle (staffing, integration, training, labor relations, etc.)
  • Answers daily employee questions regarding HR policies, payroll, or benefits.
  • Prepares employment contracts, hiring documents and administrative letters.
  • Participates in the publication and monitoring of job postings.
  • Ensures the opening, updating and closing of employee files in systems (Employer D, Agendrix, etc.).
  • Collaborates on various HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Payroll management:

  • Performs complete and accurate payroll processing for all staff according to established deadlines.
  • Verifies the compliance of payroll data and ensures compliance with laws, collective agreements and internal policies.
  • Administers variable payroll elements (vacation, leave, bonuses, deductions, taxable benefits, etc.).
  • Manages special files (work permits, extended absences, etc.).
  • Produces necessary reports and answers employee questions related to payroll.
  • Participates in the year-end process (T4, R1, summaries and reconciliations).

Refunds and benefits:

  • Processes expense reimbursements and various allowances through payroll.
  • Checks and reconciles invoices and supporting documents.
  • Manages the wellness allowance program and corporate clothing.

Continuous improvement:

  • Contributes to the optimization of administrative and payroll processes.
  • Participates in updating HR policies and internal guides.
  • Collaborates in documenting procedures and training new employees on HR tools.
